What have you been up to lately?
I’ve been doing a lot of gym training and on-bike training. I just got back from Tennessee, where I spent a week riding and testing the new bike at Wind Rock Bike Park.
How did you start riding?
I had a buddy who got me into it, and I was just surrounded by it from a young age in Whistler.
What does riding mean for you?
A place where I can let go of everything, have fun, do some whips, go fast, and have good times with my buddies.
What inspires you or keeps you motivated?
When me and my friends push each other while riding and the process of trying to make it to the top.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A professional mountain bike rider.
Who do you look up to?
I look up to many people for different reasons. I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by mentors and people from whom I can learn.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m racing the World Cup circuit this year for my second year as a Junior, and I’ll also do a couple of other races in between, like Crankworx Whistler.
Any last words?
Bicycle Nightmares rules!
