What have you been up to lately?
I have just started school but I ride as much as I can.
How did you start riding?
I started with my friend Bubba at his house. He’s a very good BMX racer, a 5x world champ for his age. We would always ride his track and go to Polo grounds.
What does inspire you or keeps you motivated?
Watching videos on the Internet. Also I just try to be the best at everything I do, so that’s what keeps me motivated.
Do you study?
Yeah, I just started my sophomore year in high school, grade 10.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Try to take biking as far as I can. But if that doesn’t work out, I have a few other ideas.
Who do you look up to?
Brandon Semenuk because he pushes the sport to new levels.
What is the best advice that you have ever received.
Don’t half-ass things. When you do it, do it right the first time.
What does your bike mean for you?
A way of life. I can’t imagine a life without a bike.
What are your plans for the future?
Just keep doing what I am doing and everything will work out.
Any last words?
Stoked to have the opportunity to be featured. Héctor is the man!
