What have you been up to lately?

It’s down time for us during October and November, so I’ve been working hard at school and trying to ride a bit. It gets dark really fast at this time of the year, so it’s mostly weekend riding. I am about to head to Woodward for winter camp and will stay down in California for some time afterwards.

How did you start riding?

I remember that my mom used to put on Danny Macaskill videos when I was really young and she was busy. You could say that Danny was my first babysitter.

What does inspire you or keeps you motivated?

Everything gets me stoked, doing manuals up and down the street or landing a big trick. Sometimes working on video parts is pretty hard work, but I know that seeing a cool edit is going to be worth it

Do you study?

Not as much as I should… I go to a regular school and I’m in grade 9. I’m in French Immersion so most of the classes are in French.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Firstly, I don’t want to grow up! But if I have to, then any job that involves riding a bike.

Who do you look up to?

There is so much to learn from so many people, but Jake Kinney has been the biggest influence in my life. He’s such a positive guy and is fun to be around, and also has so much style.

What is the best advice that you have ever received?

Have fun, but nothing comes without practice.

What does your bike mean for you?

My bikes is a part of me, like an arm or a leg.  I can’t imagine what life would be like without it.

What are your plans for the future?

I’ll turn 15 in February, so there isn’t too many Slopestyle comps to do next year, so instead I’ll be racing a bunch of events. I’ve  got a really cool spring lined up with some cool video projects too. And I’m hoping to finish the year at Happy Ride in Barcelona next November!

Any last words?

Just a big thanks to everyone who is behind me.
