Cody Gessel is a shredder. We all have seen him destroy spots from dirt to concrete on his hardtail, however he has also picked up another new found passion on wheels, Skateboarding. Although he may be new to it, when you watch him flow his skate around a nice bowl you would think he has been doing it for a decade. The kid is a natural.
With the Motos loaded up with skateboards and bicycles we set out to make the most of a nice Utah summer day. It started with meeting up at South Jordan Skatepark to shred the perfect pool coped bowl with trannies varying from 5 to 12 feet. After warming it up and ripping corners on his skate, Cody broke out the bike to send some airs and transfers.
After the heat of the session cooled down, we packed up the shreds for a Moto trip at a little higher elevation escaping the midday heat in one of Salt Lake’s epic winding mountain canyons pressing some rubber into the asphalt.
With hunger and stoke in our bellies we made a quick essential food supplies stop and pinned it down to the local trails spot (Tanner Trails) for a BBQ and chill session that led into an amazing evening shred session with friends, Chaz, Flook, Little Chris and Galen.
Days like these are the ones we live for, to capture so many great moments on film seem to make these memories timeless and last forever.
