One can say that it’s just mountain biking — and we agree — but if we dig deeper and open our mind, we can see an emerging new discipline and scene, usually done by grown-up dirt jumpers on modern trail bikes, riders who add a unique style of riding to the terrain. They pedal (or hike) up the hills, but all they want to do is go down as fast as possible, jump, skid and destroy corners.
They don’t do it for the clock. They don’t care what others think. They are different. They just want to have fun and enjoy the ride.
About the rider: Sergi Valenzuela, also known as Uncle Metal, is an action sports athlete and film maker that knows how to ride a mountain bike, a BMX, a skateboard, a snowboard, a surfboard and anything else you can think of.
When he is mountain biking, he rides an Evil Insurgent.
